David's work focuses on type and the process that goes into making it. He has explored a broad scope of processes from traditional drawing, to creating his own computer typeface, and even to the use of the sun to create words on a type based sundial. By understanding and experimenting with different processes it is possible to get a real depth of knowledge and appreciation for the complex art of typography.
